Forget Me Not Tea

A dementia-friendly gathering with tea, conversation, and support

Forget Me Not Tea at St. Peter's

Welcome to Forget Me Not Tea

Dementia affects people in many different ways. For some, it's a minor inconvenience — for others, it can be life-changing. It can feel as though dementia is slowly stealing the people we love. Watching someone dear to us change can be incredibly hard.

Forget Me Not Tea is our monthly gathering, specially created for people living with dementia and those who care for them. It's open to all and offers a warm, welcoming, and supportive space to relax and connect.

Each meeting includes familiar worship, gentle songs, thoughtful prayers, and poetry — all designed to bring comfort, joy, and a sense of belonging. And of course… A scrummy high tea! Mmmmmmm.

Named after the forget-me-not flower — a symbol of dementia awareness — this group reminds us that no one is forgotten, and everyone is valued. We'd love for you to join us for companionship, conversation, and community.

"Memory fades, but the heart remembers. Everyone deserves to be treated with dignity, respect, and love."
